Check-in can take place anytime after 3:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. Keys can be obtained from the owners by mail or through special arrangement by a local property manager (this will be pre-arranged prior to your arrival). There is a dead bolt and a regular door lock that need to be unlocked for entry.
Call us at 1-530-265-5800 if there is anything is out of order or that you feel needs attention.
Once inside the house, do a quick inventory check to make sure all the items on the inventory list in the unit and in good working condition. You are responsible for any lost, stolen or damage done while you are there. Send us an e-mail (rsherman@mauigoldwest.com) or call us right away if anything is missing or amiss. Normally, we keep the curtains drawn and shades down but these can be opened as you like. A wooden pole is kept in the track of the sliding glass door and must be removed for the door to be opened.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. No late check-outs are permitted if someone is checking in on your day of departure. A $200/hour charge will be applied for any late check-out that occurs. If the unit is not booked on your departure day you may schedule a late check-out of 12:00 PM by confirming with the management in advance. Upon vacating the premises, guests agree to leave the vacation home in the same clean condition in which it was found.
